We support children in becoming confident, independent, and self-aware. We also encourage empathy by helping them recognise when their peers might need support. Our environment is thoughtfully designed to promote independence, with easy access to child-friendly toilets and handwashing facilities available throughout the day, empowering children to take ownership of their personal care and wellbeing.

We know preschoolers are energetic, curious learners who need the right fuel to support their growth and busy days. A healthy, balanced diet is essential for their development and daily adventures. At this stage, children start to understand how food helps their bodies, building the foundation for lifelong healthy habits. Mealtimes also promote independence, preschoolers are encouraged to self-serve with gentle guidance, helping them develop confidence, self-regulation, and a sense of choice in a supportive, nutritious setting.

Children continue their learning through the EYFS, building on earlier foundations as they prepare for primary school. With a more structured routine and small group work, preschoolers develop focus, independence, and social skills. While play remains central, we introduce activities tailored to each child’s interests, linked to the seven EYFS areas. To support digital confidence, children use age-appropriate IT equipment, including iPads. Our goal is to help every child feel confident, curious, and school-ready.

Our Toddler Room is designed to support the curiosity and growing independence of children aged 18 months to 3 years. In our safe, stimulating space, dedicated learning zones encourage creativity, reading, group play, and imaginative exploration. From messy play to circle time, each area supports early development. Child-friendly toilets help toddlers build confidence in self-care during toilet training. Whether exploring independently or joining in with others, children are nurtured, supported, and inspired every step of the way.
