Our nursery environment and resources enable your child to explore, develop and learn. Our Baby, Toddler and Preschool spaces are specially designed and equipped especially with them in mind. You’ll see many familiar homely items such as bookcases, tables, chairs, and sofas just much smaller than you are used to!
Babies Environment
Our large open plan babies room is bright & airy with an abundance of natural light. Resources are set up to engage both mobile & non-mobile babies and encourage physical, social, and emotional development and early communication skills.
The space allows children to explore freely & with support from our specialist baby staff team.
Sensory and messy play activities are in abundance and staff engage children with music, movement & stories. Sand, water & malleable materials are always available. We believe in free flow into the garden for children to move and explore inside & outside.
There will never be more than three babies to one member of staff to ensure all children have the essential attention they need and each baby will have their own dedicated key person.
Toddlers Environment
When your child is ready, usually around their second birthday, we will gently transition them up to our Toddlers Room on the third floor and new key person to support the next stage of their journey. The Toddler Room is a large, light & airy space with free flow onto our second outdoor terrace, children’s bathroom with rainbow toilet cubicles, and it is next to our Preschool Room.
We plan activities inspired by children’s interests and set up daily with environments to spark imagination & learning through play. Different areas allow children to explore creative arts & messy play, investigation and early science, role-play, social group time, gardening, ICT, literacy, maths & physical play. Sand & water and malleable materials are also available.
Preschool Environment
We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new, dedicated Preschool on the High Street, just a short walk from our nursery. Our Preschool is designed with a strong focus on school readiness and engaging, purposeful activities. Once children reach preschool age, they’ll spend more time here, building the confidence, independence, and essential skills they need to thrive as they begin their school journey.
Within our Preschool, we’re proud to have a wonderful team of highly qualified staff who are passionate about every child’s learning and development. Many of them hold Qualified Teacher Status or degrees in Early Years Education, ensuring your child receives the very best start.
