Position:

Preschool Room Leader & 2nd in Charge

About Me:

I have dedicated part of my professional journey to being an Early Years Room Leader in Nigeria, and I am now eager to pursue a similar path in England. While I deeply value Nigeria’s cultural richness and diversity, my move to England is driven by the robust Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the opportunities it provides for professional growth. The vibrant cultural scene in London also offers exciting possibilities to connect and network with industry professionals.

Working with children is more than a profession for me, it is a profound passion that brings immense joy and fulfilment. I am continually inspired by their genuine curiosity and innocence, and it is truly gratifying to witness their eyes light up with wonder as they explore the world around them.

In supporting children’s learning, I focus on engaging, interactive, and play-based activities that encourage exploration and creativity. I incorporate age-appropriate educational games, hands-on experiences, and imaginative activities tailored to individual learning styles. I also place strong emphasis on promoting positive social interactions, celebrating each child’s unique progress, and fostering a nurturing, supportive environment.

Beyond my professional work, I enjoy dancing, traveling, and singing - passions that bring energy and creativity into my practice with children.

I am Level 6 qualified, Paediatric First Aid certified, and have recently taken on the role of Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), further strengthening my ability to safeguard and support children in my care.

I am excited about the prospect of contributing to the learning and care of children and their families in England, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the Early Years sector.
